Who are
our
Members?
What do
we do?
How do I join?
We are just like you!
UthMpact members are High School students representing
schools throughout Polk County. Our members are dedicated and believe in our mission to educate peers about the importance of healthy decisions.
Meetings are held once a month to plan and organize coalition events and projects. UthMpact members also work with our coalition partners InnerAct Alliance and StandUP Polk on shared events including the Annual Red Ribbon Run that takes place in the Fall (October or November). Learn more by visiting our Partners and Sponsors Page.
Our Mission:
A coalition for teens by teens,
educating and empowering teens to make healthy decisions and actions against alcohol, tobacco and drug use.
UthMpact members plan projects and events to promote the mission to their peers. Positive Social Norming and Marketing are used to educate youth that the majority of their peers DO NOT use alcohol, tobacco or other drugs.
All are welcome!
